As the topic of uncertainty in electricity markets and system operations is increasingly at the core of the many of the research problems we focus on, especially for our students, young researchers and practitioners, we thought that it would be a great idea to organize a Summer School on that topic. DTU is a perfect location for it, since having a long tradition of considering uncertainties from wind power generation. It will take place between 4th and 8th of July, on our campus North of Copenhagen. Accommodation on campus will be provided at a very competitive price.
The idea of the Summer School is to have a mixed format with lectures from experts in the area, hands-on tutorials for attendees to learn about relevant techniques for handling uncertainties, as well as flip-the-classroom sessions where students will be presenting their works and getting feedback from the aforementioned experts.
More information is provided in the Summer School’s website.
The Summer School is registered as an EES-UETP course (Electric Energy Systems – University Enterprise Training Partnership) and also supported by the Centre for IT-Intelligent Energy Systems (CITIES) at DTU, Denmark.
Note that the number of seats is limited. We would therefore encourage those interested in attending to contact us as soon as possible for registration!
